Even though Miami’s condo development boom has entered a slower period, there are still incredible projects as well as residential construction in the works that will be coming online in the next couple of years.
As celebrity architects and designers descend upon Miami’s shores, new development projects are not only getting more valuable but also bringing a level of cutting-edge design we’ve never seen before in our city. In the past two years alone, names like Zaha Hadid, Herzog & De Meuron, Foster + Partners, Piero Lissoni, Jean Nouvel, and Missoni have all headlined Miami projects.
This week, we’re paying tribute to this heightened level of beautiful design. We’re highlighting four of the most impressive preconstruction condo projects transforming our skyline right now.
No matter if you’re an investor or a real estate connoisseur, these projects should be at the forefront of your mind.
One Thousand Museum
The name Zaha Hadid needs no introduction. Experts are already calling One Thousand Museum one of the “most spectacular residential developments in the world.” With it’s snaking columns and unique structural exoskeleton, this building will define Miami’s skyline for years to come. Once completed in December 2018, it will feature a helipad, high-security vault, aquatic center with infinity pool, and a two-level 15,000 sq. ft. penthouse.
Aston Martin Residences
If the British car manufacturer from James Bond fame is putting its name on a building, you know it’s going to be sophisticated, elegant, and expansive. Located on one of the last developable waterfront parcels in Downtown Miami, the Aston Martin Residences will feature four full levels of Sky Amenities, a virtual golf room, two cinemas, carbon fiber reception desks, and doors complete with artisan Aston Martin handles. One of these 391 units could still be yours…
Among all the other projects on this list, we believe Brickell Flatiron is situated in the best location. Not to mention the amenities will rival any renowned five star hotel! Located right in the heart of Mary Brickell Village, residents will be steps away from shopping, dining, nightlife, and entertainment. Brickell Flatiron is designed by Revuelta Architecture to embody a distinctive triangular shape and pay homage to the original Flatiron Building in New York City.
This is the newest of the projects on our list… Una was just unveiled in March ’18 by OKO Group, the investment firm behind Missoni Baia in Edgewater, and within one week 25 units had already sold. Una is described as ultra-luxurious and the “most modern, most elegant, and most sought after condo in the Brickell Miami corridor.” Una originally made headlines after Russian Developer Vladislav Doronin from OKO Group literally bought all 61 units from separate owners in an old building to then tear it down and construct the Una Tower.
